Education in a relaxing environment

Before I was accepted into the RN program at Unitek College I still needed two prerequisites. That was when I discovered online classes. I took two online courses followed by an accelerated Nursing program. I must tell you that there is no comparison. The online program only required me to set up an environment at home that would be conducive to learning. I was able to work at my own pace without the extra time and cost of preparing myself to go to a classroom. You may be surprised just how stressful that can be. Think about all the factors that are in going to a job or school. Now think about all the factors required to go to your desk and turn on a computer.

An online RN to BSN program that does not require clinicals is a blessing for those who do not need the extra time in a medical surgical unit. If you work or have spent a year on a medical surgical unit then you will appreciate the liberty that an online class will provide. Driving to clinical sites as well as the classroom takes away from your study time and adds stress. If you live in a bustling city then you may be stressed out before you ever make it to your destination. Nothing is more of a Zen killer than rushing to a destination worried about being late or the stress of driving on the freeway.

There is a RN to BSN program in California that is adult learner friendly. From what I understand it is a no fluff program to get you through and back to work as quickly as possible. I would highly suggest checking them out.
